** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to residents, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare and housing environment.

+ Respond to incidents, behavioral health situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, following site protocols and reporting requirements.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, documenting incidents and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.

+ Support a respectful and welcoming atmosphere by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
