** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or residents by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency personnel.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entry points, common spaces, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.

+ Monitor access to the location by observing entrances and exits, verifying authorization when required, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or unauthorized access attempts.

+ Complete routine reports and incident documentation, maintaining accurate records of patrol activity, observations, and/or interactions that support daily location operations.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.

+ Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
