Security Officer - Transitional Shelter

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, monitoring entry and exit activity, and supporting access control practices at a shelter location;
Verify identification, screen visitors, staff, and vendors as required, and document arrivals, departures, and other security-related activity in accordance with post orders;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to deter unauthorized access, observe unusual activity, and report maintenance and/or security-related concerns;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate;
Support resident and guest movement by helping enforce visitor rules, monitoring common areas, and addressing policy-related issues with professionalism and respect
