Provide customer service to residents, guests, staff, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, observe unusual conditions, and report concerns.;
Monitor access points and common areas, verify authorized entry when required, and provide directions or assistance in accordance with location protocols.;
Support a respectful environment within the shelter location by addressing routine security-related concerns, following post orders, and escalating issues through proper channels when appropriate.
