Provide customer service to shelter residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including resident disputes and/or shelter emergencies.;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the shelter and around the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, hazards, and policy violations.;
Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, incidents, and unusual activity according to site procedures.;
Communicate promptly with shelter staff, Allied Universal supervisors, and/or emergency responders regarding incidents requiring additional assistance.
