Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections of commercial and industrial boiler systems
- Prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates (labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors)
- Review blueprints, mechanical drawings, and project specifications
- Identify code requirements, safety risks, and full project scope
- Collaborate with project managers, field technicians, and clients
- Assist with proposal development and project planning
- 3+ years of estimating experience (mechanical, HVAC, or boiler systems preferred)
- Hands-on experience with boiler systems (installation, repair, or maintenance)
- Knowledge of oil, gas, and/or dual-fuel systems
- Experience with piping, welding, and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with ASME and NBIC codes
- OSHA certification is a plus
