Supervising Zoological Park Maintainer, Plumbing Shop

Under general supervision, directs and performs responsible work in the maintenance and operation of mechanical systems including but not limited to heating, cooling, plumbing distribution systems and controls at various locations. Responsible for all work requiring application of plumbing skills.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Perform & supervise general maintenance or specialized work with regard to plumbing and shop work.
• Repairs, supervises and maintains all types of work, pertaining to the plumbing field, heating systems including boilers, ventilation and pumping systems.
• Install, repair and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, pumps, heating systems, heat exchangers, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial buildings.
• Required to display proficiency and skill in the use of tools associated with the plumbing field.
• Keeps records and prepares reports on work performed and material used.
• Will be required to respond to snow and storm related emergencies to assist with removal and clean-up operations during normal and off-normal business hours.
• Perform related tasks and duties as required.
