Position: LTC Associate I - Freezer
The LTC Associate I - Freezer is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations involving loose product handling (products that are less than a case), order fulfillment, replenishment, and product organization activities, within the freezer room. This role ensures products are properly organized, rotated, and handled in accordance with food safety standards, quality requirements, and company operating procedures. The LTC Associate I - Freezer plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, product integrity, and efficient warehouse operations in a temperature-controlled environment.

Responsibilities:

* Utilize RF scanners, handheld devices, and warehouse management systems (WMS) to retrieve and fulfill daily customer orders accurately.

* Pick, pack, and prepare loose products for shipment according to customer specifications and established productivity standards.

* Verify product descriptions, quantities, lot numbers, and order details to ensure order accuracy and completeness.

* Organize products onto pallets in accordance with food safety standards, product specifications, and operational requirements.

* Apply LPN labels and other required product identification labels in preparation for staging, loading, and shipment.

* Transport completed pallets and products to designated staging and loading areas.

* Replenish pick locations to maintain product availability and support uninterrupted warehouse operations.

* Ensure products remain organized, separated, and stored in designated freezer locations.

* Monitor product quality, packaging integrity, and condition throughout the picking and replenishment process.

* Identify damaged, expired, or non-conforming products and communicate concerns to leadership.

* Assist with inventory verification activities and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, or damaged products.

* Maintain cleanliness, organization, and housekeeping standards within assigned freezer work areas.

* Follow all GMP, HACCP, food safety, quality assurance, and workplace safety procedures.

* Properly utilize freezer PPE and comply with all freezer safety requirements and cold-chain handling procedures.

* Work collaboratively with warehouse operations, inventory control, quality control, transportation, and leadership teams to support operational goals.

* Meet established productivity, quality, attendance, and safety expectations.

* Perform additional warehouse and operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Prior quality control, warehouse, food distribution, logistics, or auditing experience preferred.

* Basic computer, scanner, and data entry skills preferred.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

* Basic understanding of food safety and quality standards preferred.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift for extended periods of time.

* Ability to lift and move products within company established guidelines, with or without reasonable accommodation.

* Ability to work in refrigerated, freezer, or varying warehouse temperature environments depending on operational assignment.

* Ability to safely operate warehouse tools, RF scanners, and related equipment as trained.

Work Environment:

This position operates primarily within a freezer warehouse environment and requires regular exposure to sub-zero temperatures. Associates may be exposed to moving machinery, powered industrial equipment, varying temperatures, and moderate to loud noise levels.
