Classic Westside Mazda in Brook Park, Ohio is seeking an experienced, professional, and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer to join our Service team.

We are looking for an ambitious automotive service professional with at least one (1) year of experience as a Service Advisor/Writer in an automotive dealership or professional automotive repair facility.

As an Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer, you will serve as the primary point of contact between our customers and service technicians.

Responsibilities include:

• Greet customers and identify their vehicle service and repair needs
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms and requested services
• Prepare accurate repair orders and clearly communicate recommended maintenance and repairs
• Review estimates, costs, and expected repair timelines with customers
• Keep customers informed throughout the service and repair process
• Coordinate closely with technicians and other Service Department personnel
• Review completed repairs and services with customers at vehicle delivery
• Maintain accurate customer, vehicle, and repair order records
• Follow up with customers and help build long-term customer relationships
• Provide a professional, positive customer experience from arrival through vehicle delivery
• Maintain the high standards of professionalism and customer service expected by Classic Westside Mazda

• Minimum one (1) year of professional Automotive Service Advisor/Writer experience required
• Automotive dealership or professional repair facility experience preferred
• Mazda or other manufacturer dealership experience is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to explain automotive maintenance and repair recommendations clearly and professionally
• Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced Service Department
• Professional, dependable, organized, and customer-focused
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Ability to effectively manage multiple customers and repair orders
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Desire to grow professionally and advance within the organization
