Assist in preparing and delivering patient-specific education on dialysis adequacy metrics such as Online Clearance Monitoring, Adequacy Monitoring Program, and UKM; and information regarding disease process/access;
Monitor patients during dialysis, including vital signs and response to treatment;
Assist in vascular access cannulation and evaluation, and manage heparin administration as delegated;
Document treatment data accurately and in a timely manner; report significant changes to the RN or supervisor;
Maintain infection control, prepare and organize supplies, and assist with cleanup and environmental integrity between treatments
