Position Overview
The PC Technician is responsible for pre‑configuring IT equipment prior to deployment. This includes preparing devices according to documented instructions, validating functionality, and ensuring all work meets quality and consistency standards. This entry‑level role offers opportunities for growth within the IT field.
Key Responsibilities
+ Follow written work instructions to provision and configure IT devices based on customer requirements.
+ Perform basic kitting of equipment for deployment.
+ Unbox, re‑box, and prepare equipment for shipment.
+ Clean, test, and inspect IT devices to ensure proper functionality.
+ Escalate technical or process issues to supervisors when needed.
+ Participate in internal team and project meetings.
+ Suggest improvements to processes and workflow efficiency.
+ Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
+ Entry‑level, hands‑on technical role.
+ Technical certifications are preferred but not required; candidates are expected to pursue certifications within the first year.
+ At least 1 year of related experience or relevant training preferred.
+ Valid driver's license meeting insurance requirements.
Physical Requirements
+ Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
+ Frequent standing, bending, carrying, and transporting IT equipment (approx. 50% of the time).
+ Occasional use of basic tools (e.g., screwdrivers).
+ Ability to read instructions, type, and work from a computer monitor.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brook Park, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
