Criterion Precision machines parts for the medical device, aerospace, and weapons-firing industries. We are seeking a dynamic team member. Criterion Precision Machining is a female-owned, ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 certified precision machine shop based in Brook Park, OH. The company is FDA- and ITAR-registered, DFARS-compliant, and specializes in supporting industries where precision is critical, including aerospace, defense, nuclear, medical devices, and biotech.
Criterion Precision produces high-quality prototypes and production components for Class II & Class III medical devices used in development, testing, and clinical trials. With expertise in 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling, multi-axis turning, and Swiss turning, the company is committed to delivering reliable, precise manufacturing solutions for no-failure industries.
This is a full-time, on-site CNC Swiss Programmer role located in Brook Park, OH. The CNC Swiss Programmer will develop, edit, and improve CNC programs for Swiss-style machines, set up and operate CNC Swiss lathes, and ensure that precision-machined components meet detailed specifications. The role also involves interpreting technical drawings, troubleshooting machining processes, and collaborating with team members to achieve production efficiency and quality standards.
Qualifications- Proficiency in CNC Programming and Programming for Swiss-style CNC machines
- Strong self-awareness around soft skills: emotional intelligence, integrity, and interpersonal abilities.
- Hands-on experience in Machining and Milling operations and machine code
- Hands-on experience utilizing Autodesk Part Maker to create & edit programs
- Strong understanding of interpreting Technical Drawings and detailed blueprints that include GD&T
- Ability to troubleshoot tooling & program issues and ensure high-quality, precise machining
- Proven experience in a precision manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high production standards
- Relevant certifications or training in CNC programming and mechanical engineering are a plus
- Previous experience in aerospace, medical devices, or other no-failure industries is highly desirable
