Job Description:
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. This role will oversee a team of production employees while coordinating closely with maintenance to keep equipment running and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output and delivery targets
  • Monitor workflow, productivity, and equipment performance to drive efficiency
  • Lead and support production team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Partner with maintenance teams to prioritize repairs and reduce downtime
  • Enforce safety standards and maintain a safe working environment
  • Identify and resolve production issues, bottlenecks, and delays
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes and operations
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience troubleshooting equipment and working with maintenance teams
  • Ability to manage and motivate a unionized workforce (up to 30 employees)
  • Strong understanding of production processes, equipment, and safety standards
  • High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) equipment
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or relevant certification
  • Background in continuous improvement methodologies
