Engineering Technician — Bending Department

Since 1997, HMF Racing has been engineering and fabricating high-performance exhausts and equipment for the powersports world. From the garage to the trail, we build parts that are built to last and built to perform. Our bending department is at the core of what we do — and we're looking for someone ready to grow with us.

We're hiring an Entry‑Level Engineering Technician to join our bending department. You'll work hands‑on with tube bending equipment, straight tube laser cutting machines, and CAD files to help produce the precision parts our customers depend on. • Operate and set up electric tube benders and pneumatic tube benders
• Operate straight tube laser cutting machines for precision cutting operations
• Read and interpret CAD files and technical drawings to ensure accurate production
• Apply material knowledge to select proper tubing and verify specifications
• Troubleshoot bending issues using critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
• Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean and organized
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams on part quality and process improvement

• Associate's degree or technical certificate in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or related field — or equivalent hands‑on experience
• Ability to read and interpret CAD files and engineering drawings
• Basic understanding of material properties (steel, stainless, aluminum tubing)
• Mechanical aptitude — comfortable learning to operate industrial equipment
• Strong attention to detail and a quality‑first mindset
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience with tube bending equipment is a plus, but not required — we'll train the right person

• Contributing to quality checks on their own work

• Running the straight tube laser with confidence
• Identifying and communicating setup issues proactively
• Consistently meeting production targets

• Fully independent on all bending department equipment
• Capable of training new team members on basic operations
• Eligible for performance review and compensation increase
