Production Associate (1st or 2nd Shift)
This role supports multiple production areas in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on oven packing operations and quality control. You assist with general labor tasks, help keep production flowing smoothly, and ensure products meet quality standards while working safely in hot and dusty conditions are looking for individuals to start as soon as possible after interviewing. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half.

1st Shift: 6am-2pm $20.32/HR
2nd Shift: 2pm-10pm $21.32/HR
Assist in various areas of the manufacturing process as needed to support overall production flow.
Pack and unload parts from ovens in a safe and efficient manner.
Remove finished parts from production lines and stage them for the next process or shipment.
Perform quality control checks and visual inspections of parts to ensure they meet specifications.
Stack materials onto pallets in an organized, stable, and safe manner.
Label boxes accurately for shipment or storage to maintain proper identification and traceability.
Operate a vacuum hoist to safely lift and move materials as required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures and guidelines consistently.
Support general labor and helper duties in a foundry-like environment as assigned.
2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to lift 30+ pounds regularly throughout the shift.
Willingness to work overtime, including frequent and mandatory Saturday shifts when scheduled.
Strong attention to detail for inspections and quality checks.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work safely and effectively in hot and dusty conditions.
Comfort working in a fast-paced production and foundry-like environment.
Capability to follow safety, quality, and production procedures accurately.
Experience in general labor, production, or foundry environments.
Prior experience with quality control or visual inspection tasks.
Familiarity with operating a vacuum hoist or similar material handling equipment.
Comfort working in a union environment.
Ability to work both 1st shift (approximately 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.) and 2nd shift (approximately 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.), depending on business needs.

You work in a unionized, foundry-like manufacturing environment that is hot and dusty, so you should be comfortable in physically demanding conditions. The role operates on 1st shift (approximately 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) and 2nd shift (approximately 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.), with the possibility of transitioning to a schedule of four 10-hour shifts depending on production needs. You can expect frequent Saturday work, typically two Saturdays every four weeks and occasionally three Saturdays every five weeks, with scheduled Saturdays being mandatory.
Each shift includes two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch period. You work around ovens, production lines, and material handling equipment such as vacuum hoists, and you follow established safety and quality procedures at all times. The company provides uniforms and annual boots, supporting a consistent and safe dress standard appropriate for a foundry-style setting.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brook Park, OH.
The pay range for this position is $20.32 - $21.32/hr.
