Job Summary
Maintains production and distribution of products by delivering production materials and supplies to the production area; packaging and staging finished products. Operating and changing over filling line to package finished product or chemical.
Maintains production and distribution of products by delivering production materials and supplies to the production area; packaging and staging finished products. Operating and changing over filling line to package finished product or chemical.
Responsibilities- Move material to filling line.
- Fill bottles of varies sizes to exact weight.
- Operate weight scales at all filling locations.
- Set up and use the automatic label line.
- Set up and use the automated capper.
- Operate the heat sealer at all filling locations.
- Package the bottles into cases and label for shipping.
- Maintain all associated work areas in a clean, neat manner during the entire shift.
- Safely handle chemicals and effectively clean all designated plant areas.
- Remove plant generated waste to the trash.
- Attend all company mandated training sessions these include Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Can perform basic maintenance and adjustments on filling equipment.
- Can safely transport materials using forklift.
- Follow proper procedures as described in ISO.
- Comply with all policies and procedures of Ques Industries
- Can write legibly and properly follow all verbal / written instructions.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Effectively performs all other duties as assigned or directed by plant management.
- Ability to conduct accurate inventory of materials.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in chemical blending, mixing, or manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret batch tickets, SDSs, and technical documents.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks.
- Basic math and computer skills required.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Willingness to work in an environment with exposure to chemicals and odors and commitment to wearing PPE.
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals, heat, noise, and moving machinery.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required, such as gloves, goggles, and respirators.
- May require overtime and shift work depending on production needs.
