CNC Milling Operator

Currently seeking a CNC Milling Operator
in the Cleveland, OH area.

Position description is below:

The CNC Milling Operator operates computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts. The Operator performs intricate and close tolerance machining in low quantities of small, advanced precision components using CNC Mills. The Operator loads parts in the machine, cycles machine and detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. The position runs production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding productions runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.

• Performs all assigned machine shop operations.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
• Regularly performs CNC/manual milling, drilling, tapping, de-burring, deburring/sawing and sanding tasks.
• Performs inspection of machined products, and documents results.
• Completes and maintains paperwork for parts.
• May be asked to assist in other work areas.
• Must be Proficient in the setup or operation of CNC milling equipment.
• Proficient in G-code and interactive programming, engineering drawing interpretation, geometric tolerancing, and mathematics required to perform the most advanced CNC operations.
