Job Summary
The Branch Banking Client Consultant I delivers front‑line client service and transactional support by welcoming clients, identifying their needs, and performing teller functions and financial transactions in an accurate, efficient, and friendly manner to support their financial goals. The role contributes to branch success by maintaining operational accuracy and risk standards while supporting sales performance through introductions, client education, and collaboration with branch teammates.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Performance – Support team efforts to achieve growth targets in financial performance and primary client acquisition; actively seek and deliver the right client introductions to the right team member(s).
- Client Experience – Provide positive client service by assisting with account questions, problems, and complaints; research and communicate solutions in a timely and effective manner; deliver client engagement and education.
- Risk Management – Deliver timely and accurate daily financial transactions, striving for no controllable preventable losses; understand and adhere to all applicable bank policies and regulations.
- Additional Accountabilities – Perform special projects and additional duties as required; maintain compliance with regulatory and compliance policies, complete required training, and adhere to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Education – High School, GED, HiSET, TASC, or foreign equivalent.
- Experience – Less than 2 years of customer service and sales experience.
- Preferred – Experience in the financial services industry.
- Action‑oriented – Energetic, proactive, and goal‑driven; embraces new challenges with minimal planning.
- Business Acumen – Knows products, sales processes, and market strategies; seeks to differentiate in the marketplace.
- Approachability – Warm, pleasant, and gracious; builds rapport and eases interpersonal anxieties.
- Problem Solving – Uses rigorous logic to solve complex issues; listens actively and gathers information early.
- Priority Management – Effectively allocates time to important tasks; eliminates roadblocks and promotes focus.
- Relationship Building – Communicates clearly, collaborates proactively, and aligns relationships with enterprise goals; builds trusted client relationships internally and externally.
The position requires moderate physical exertion and stamina, including standing, sitting, walking, driving, and occasional lifting.
