Maintenance Supervisor / Technician
Seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor / Technician to oversee daily maintenance activities, keep equipment running, and lead a small maintenance team. Great company culture and 4-day work week.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities and staffing.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and production equipment.
- Diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot PLCs and industrial controls.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs.
- Support production with equipment setups, changeovers, and startups.
- Train maintenance personnel on equipment, procedures, and safe work practices.
- Manage work orders, parts inventory, and outside vendors.
- Assist with equipment modifications and fabrication projects.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or technical/vocational education.
- Strong hands-on maintenance background.
- Proficient in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and equipment maintenance.
- PLC experience with the ability to troubleshoot controls and equipment.
- Comfortable using common shop tools and performing basic fabrication.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn maintenance systems.
- Willing to work some overtime and occasional Saturdays.
