Brookfield High School is seeking a skilled and dedicated English Teacher to join our academic team.

We are looking for an educator who is committed to fostering student growth, both academically and socially, within a supportive and collaborative school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Create a structured and engaging classroom environment that encourages student learning and development.

* Deliver instruction in literature, writing, and language arts that aligns with curriculum standards.

* Collaborate with colleagues and staff to support student achievement and school initiatives.

* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and classroom expectations.

* Maintain classroom management while adhering to school policies and procedures.

* Complete all required administrative duties, including grading and reporting on student performance.

Qualifications:

* Valid Connecticut English (015) certification.

* Experience teaching at the high school level preferred.

* Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively within a professional team environment.

* Dedication to providing a positive and meaningful learning experience for students.
