Description:

* Develop and implement individualized and small-group instruction aligned with students' IEP goals, state standards, and district curriculum.

* Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth, independence, and self-advocacy.

* Monitor student progress through ongoing assessment, data collection, and progress reporting, adjusting instruction and interventions as needed.

* Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies, assistive technology, and differentiated materials to meet diverse learning needs.

* Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and administrators to support student achievement and successful inclusion.

* Implement positive behavior support strategies and maintain a structured classroom environment that fosters student engagement and success.

* Participate in IEP meetings, professional development activities, and school events as required.

* Qualified Candidates must have a valid CT Certification in the area which they apply.
