Overview
Nursery Preschool Assistant at Regina Caeli Academy, Brookfield, CT.
Work HoursPart‑time, 13.5 hours per week on Monday and Thursday, 8:30am–3:15pm during the 2025–26 academic year.
Responsibilities- Assist in a classical and Catholic preschool classroom.
- Support the teacher in daily classroom activities and management.
- Provide care for children during scheduled hours.
- No teaching certification or formal teaching experience required.
- Experience homeschooling, working with homeschool children, or ministry in a Catholic parish is preferred.
- Experience teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes, or teaching own children, is also valued.
- Strong communication skills, good organization, and timeliness.
- Traditional view of student‑teacher relationship and daily practice of Catholic faith, having received appropriate sacraments.
- Sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
- Complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training before teaching.
- Complete mandatory staff training before starting work.
- Positions are hourly; childcare is provided.
- No additional vacation days are granted beyond accommodations for sick days as needed.
