Brookfield High School is seeking a skilled and dedicated English Teacher to join our academic team. We are looking for an educator who is committed to fostering student growth, both academically and socially, within a supportive and collaborative school environment. Key responsibilities include creating a structured and engaging classroom environment that encourages student learning and development, delivering instruction in literature, writing, and language arts that aligns with curriculum standards, collaborating with colleagues and staff to support student achievement and school initiatives, communicating effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and classroom expectations, maintaining classroom management while adhering to school policies and procedures, and completing all required administrative duties, including grading and reporting on student performance.

Qualifications include valid Connecticut English (015) certification, experience teaching at the high school level preferred, strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a professional team environment. Dedication to providing a positive and meaningful learning experience for students is also required.
