Job Overview

We are seeking a part-time Pre School (PK3 or PK4) teacher to teach in a classical and Catholic classroom at our center in Brookfield, CT.

No teaching certification or formal teaching experience required; we will train you. The ideal applicant may have experience homeschooling, working with homeschool children, ministry in a Catholic parish, teaching Religious Education or Catechism, teaching your own children, or perhaps teaching in a classical or private school (though not required).

Regina Caeli Academy is a classical homeschool academy in the Catholic tradition, offering instruction in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. Positions are hourly, childcare/nursery is provided. No additional vacation days are given; accommodations are made for sick days as needed.

Applicants must sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church, have a deep love for the Catholic faith, strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and live the Catholic faith day‑to‑day, including having received all sacraments appropriate to their state in life.

Applicants must attend mandatory training days on August 10, 11, and 12, 2026 (8 am–5 pm); no childcare is provided for training, but nursing infants are welcome.

All staff complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training prior to teaching; all employees must have a clear background check.

Mon & Thu 8:30 am – 3:15 pm. Tutors must prepare for classes at home and come prepared to teach in a highly structured environment.
