About the RoleWe’re looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to provide hands‑on technical assistance for end users and support daily IT operations. You’ll handle device setup, troubleshooting, hardware deployment, and ticket resolution while ensuring users receive fast, professional support.
What You’ll Do- Support desktops, laptops, peripherals, and standard business applications.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and access issues.
- Respond to walk‑ups, calls, chat messages, and ticket requests.
- Image and configure devices, install approved software, and prepare equipment for deployment.
- Maintain asset records, update inventory, and manage device returns/loaners.
- Follow security and compliance procedures for handling equipment and user data.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical teams when needed.
- Experience providing desktop or end‑user support in a corporate environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, AD, VPN, and basic networking.
- Hands‑on experience imaging, configuring, and deploying devices.
- Familiarity with ITSM ticketing systems.
- Clear communication and strong customer‑service mindset.
- 2–5 years in desktop support, help desk, or field support roles.
- Experience with Intune, Autopilot, SCCM/MECM, or similar imaging tools.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or ITIL (nice to have).
- Ability to lift and set up monitors, docking stations, and related equipment.
