Job Title: Production Operator

Location: Brookfield, CT (on-site)
Job Summary: The Production Operator is responsible for operating filling equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and maintaining product quality. The role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to troubleshoot equipment and process deviations, and commitment to continuous improvement.
Who You Are- Actively participate in safety and process improvement initiatives.
- Have a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate measurement, labeling, and adherence to quality standards during the filling process.
- Can identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, process deviations, or product inconsistencies and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Minimum of 6 months or equivalent experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in chemical filling.
- Knowledge of GMP principles and the ability to apply them daily.
- Understanding of safety protocols, procedures, and regulations within a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in operating filling equipment or similar machinery.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks involving standing, lifting heavy objects up to 50 lbs, and repetitive motion.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production demands.
- Integrity, dependability, and a strong work ethic to maintain product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of production activities, process parameters, and deviations.
- Collaborate with team members to set up filling equipment, ensuring proper calibration before starting the process.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and guidelines throughout the filling process, reporting incidents or hazards.
- Follow all regulatory requirements and standards for handling, labeling, and storing chemicals.
- Operate filling equipment accurately and efficiently to meet product specifications.
- Conduct regular quality checks to verify labels, measure quantities, and inspect product quality.
- Identify and address issues such as equipment malfunctions or product inconsistencies to minimize disruption.
- Operate under GMP, adhering to standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.
- Work closely with supervisors and teammates for smooth coordination and communication.
