Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following each item’s product handling information using ovens and/or other equipment. Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts based on bakery production chart recommendations, including safe handling and storage instructions. Maintains all cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department.

• Carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned, supporting the application of club policies, procedures and compliance.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for members and coworkers, embracing inclusion and diversity.
• Proof and bake unfinished bakery goods following product handling information and production charts.
• Package freshly baked goods and decorate special‑order or case products.
• Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and freshness policies.
• Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments, ensuring all items are fresh and meet company quality standards.
• Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods and perform price check functions when necessary.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces in the bakery, including ovens, cooking utensils, refrigerated cases, display racks, and tables.
• Operate bakery equipment safely in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.

• Experience working in a bakery or customer‑service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

• Mostly work on non‑hard surfaces; may require bending, reaching, pushing, or stooping.
• Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds; heavier loads may require assistance.
• Work in a comfortable indoor environment with exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and coolers.
• May be exposed to cleaning agents.

Pay range: $18.00 – $21.60 per hour (actual salaries vary depending on factors such as location, education, experience, and qualifications).
