Sales Consultant

We are looking for a Sales Consultant to drive high‑end furniture sales at La‑Z‑Boy Galleries located in Brookfield, CT. The role focuses on delivering a premium customer experience, generating commissions, and contributing to store performance.

Brookfield, CT. Base salary plus unlimited commission.

• Guide high‑end clients through a premium sales experience.
• Curate luxury looks and present furniture and décor.
• Execute the La‑Z‑Boy selling process and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Assist with design consultations, product presentations, and promotional programs.
• Maintain product knowledge, records, and operations including visual merchandising, order logs, and store cleanliness.
• Support sales, training, and team culture.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior sales or retail experience, preferably in luxury goods.
• Strong communication, persuasion, negotiation, and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and sales systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.

• Training pay $17/hour for 2–6 weeks (no commission).
• Average annual earnings potential $35,000–$55,000+ after training.
• Base pay $14/hour (varies by location).
• Uncapped commission: 3% on Design sales, 2% on other sales.
• Quarterly bonus opportunity of $1,500 based on sales goals.
