Black Horse LLC is seeking a reliable and motivated Multi-Skill Construction Helper to support residential general construction projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on individual with a strong work ethic who is eager to learn multiple trades and contribute to high-quality residential builds and renovations. The Construction Helper will work under the direction of skilled tradespeople and supervisors to assist with a wide range of construction tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Assist carpenters, framers, electricians, plumbers, and other trades as needed
- Perform general construction labor, including demolition, site prep, cleanup, and material handling
- Support framing, drywall installation, painting, flooring, and finish work
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites at all times
- Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
- Take direction well and work collaboratively with the construction team
- Perform punch-list and detail work as assigned
- Represent Black Horse LLC professionally with homeowners and team members
Skills & Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of residential construction or strong willingness to learn
- Ability to perform physical labor (lifting, carrying, standing, bending)
- Familiarity with common hand and power tools preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality of work
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- 1+ year of experience in residential construction or remodeling
- Exposure to multiple trades (carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, etc.)
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)
