As a Senior Innovation Engineer on the Front-End Innovation team, you will identify real user problems and translate them into breakthrough product concepts that define our future portfolio. You will operate in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, supporting projects from early discovery through concept development, validation, and handoff.

* + Building and iteratingprototypes, leveraging 3D modeling, simulation, and rapid prototyping tools

+ Generating and refiningconcepts inambiguous problem spacesusing structured ideation andgoodengineering judgment

+ Participating in and translatingfield researchintouser feedback,observations, and actionable insights

+ Performingengineering analysis to evaluate feasibility, performance, risk, and design tradeoffs

+ Driving collaborationwithproductmarketing, design research, industrial design,NPD/ADVengineering, and project leadership to push the boundaries of innovation

+ Communicatingclearly to stakeholders, including design intent, tradeoffs, progress, and recommendations

* + Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics,Mechatronics,orrelated field

+ 5+ years of experience in product development, innovation, or concept engineering, with demonstrated ability to deliver innovative solutions.

Experience on front end innovation teams preferred.

+ Strongand evolvingfoundation in engineering fundamentals (mechanics, materials,analysis, tolerancing,statics, dynamics, and manufacturing processes)

+ Experience creating and using prototypes, models, or other tools to drive learning and decision-making

+ Demonstrated ability toutilizeCAD, Analysis Tools,3D Printing,rapid prototypingmethods, and office suite

+ Ability toleveragestrategy-level critical thinking skills that span disciplines to ensure the right ideas move forward

+ Acurious, hands-on attitude driven by extreme ownership and bias toward action

+ Ability to operate with speed, agility, and urgency in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment

+ High interest in tools of tradeandimprovinghow they areemployed

+ Ability to travel 10-20% of the time (domestic and international
