Job Description
Design and develop automated systems for manufacturing testing of new product development.
Utilize LabVIEW programming in system and fixture development.
Select and implement the appropriate sensors/transducers to measure such elements as force, torque, current, and velocity.
Participate in LabVIEW code reviews
Review and thoroughly understand product function and design specifications.
Provide project updates to engineering leadership on status, risks, and priority.
Utilize programming languages such as Lab View, C++, C#, PLC's.
Work with test development, automation, data-acquisition, and fixture development.
Work with communication protocols, such as IO-Link, Discrete IO, EtherCAT, Ethernet IP, OPCUA, TCP/IP, RS-232, RS-485, CAN
Work with test and measurement techniques, including sensor technology, signal conditioning, data acquisition and manufacturing test development.
Qualifications
3+ years recent experience creating LabVIEW programs from scratch
Experience creating LabVIEW programs that talked with multiple instruments and communicated to databases
