Manager, US Cards Fraud Strategy

BMO Financial seeks a Manager, US Cards Fraud Strategy to lead strategies that protect customers and minimize fraud losses. You will design and optimize card fraud controls, leverage advanced analytics to detect emerging threats, and drive continuous improvement across tools, rules, and processes. Partnering with Risk, Operations, Technology, and Product, you will ensure regulatory compliance, deliver clear performance reporting, and champion an inclusive, customer-focused approach to fraud risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute US Cards fraud prevention and detection strategies
• Lead analytics to identify fraud trends, emerging threats, and control gaps
• Optimize fraud rules, models, and tools to balance loss mitigation and customer experience
• Partner with Risk, Operations, Technology, and Product on end-to-end fraud controls
• Monitor KPIs, prepare executive reporting, and recommend strategic improvements
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and policy requirements related to fraud risk
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new fraud solutions
• Support incident response and complex case escalation as a fraud SME
