U.S. Upfitters a division of Driverge Vehicle Innovations, is seeking a 12V Electrical Installer to join our growing team! Essential Job Functions and Duties
- Installation of strobe lights, power inverters, dome lights and other auxiliary aftermarket products
- Read individual work order and assemble all product prior to install
- Track, order and maintain all supplemental electrical parts and equipment
- Ensure product meets quality requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe and well-organized work bay
- Adhere to strict safety and quality control production standards
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
Vocational school a plus - Previous electrical and mechanical experience or completion of an accredited trade/technical school preferred
- One (1) year of 12V electrical automotive wiring experience required
- Strong background in electrical trouble shooting preferred
- Previous work experience using hand tools, power tools and pneumatic tools
- Candidates must successfully complete criminal and submit to a motor vehicle background check
- ASE Certified (or in-process) preferred
- Welding experience is a plus
- Soldering experience required
- Solid verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to use hand, power and pneumatic tools as required
- Ability to follow diagram, written and verbal instruction
- Ability to work with others and possess good communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Able to function capably in a production environment; working around moving vehicles, assembly and installation bays
- Frequently lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be physically capable of standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, leaning, etc. on a daily basis
- Ability to work in a loud environment
- Participate in required company safety and training programs and PPE guidelines.
