The Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology team is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in an outpatient and inpatient/surgical setting. This position is Monday–Friday with possible home call on weekends, total of 7 call shifts per month.
Key responsibilities include:
- Outpatient clinic care at the Center for Advanced Pediatrics (CAP)
- Surgical coordination and intraoperative support in the operating room
- Inpatient consults at both Arthur M. Blank Hospital and Scottish Rite campuses
This role offers exposure to a broad range of pediatric and adolescent gynecologic conditions and robust opportunities for collaboration across specialties. The team provides strong mentorship from experienced providers who prioritize education, professional growth, and ongoing learning.
The ideal candidate is a flexible, team-oriented clinician who is eager to learn, interested in comprehensive clinical decision-making and women's health. Candidate should be comfortable practicing with a high level of autonomy in the clinic setting, while adapting to evolving business and operational needs
Experience- No minimum experience required
- 2 years of experience in pediatric healthcare preferred
- Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice or Master’s or Doctorate degree in Medical Science
- Master's degree in nursing or bachelor's degree in medical science
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure in the state of Georgia or licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Georgia
- Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioner Certification Program (AANP), Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB), or National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), (Certification as Family Nurse Practitioner may be acceptable with CNO approval)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 60 days of hire for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants working in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Anesthesia, Hematology/Oncology, and Critical Care (Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants working in Neonatology may provide Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification in lieu of PALS)
- Proficient knowledge of Georgia Scope of Practice for Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants, Joint Commission regulatory requirements and credentialing process of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
