Job Summary

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position located in Brookhaven, Georgia. This role involves working during the night shift on the weekend block (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and providing specialized neonatal care. The position requires adaptability to float to other units and compliance with facility‑specific safety protocols.

Job Details
  • Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications:

    Valid nursing licensure, BLS certification, at least 0 years of experience with neonatal intensive care units, PALS certification required, NRP preferred, open to float to other units, must work at least one holiday during contract, must be tested for drug screening, must have flu vaccine (religious and medical exemptions not accepted)
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience with level IV/surgical NICU, familiarity with common diagnoses such as CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, pulmonary hypertension, pre/peri/post‑op care
  • Additional Information:
    This is a NICU nursing position requiring adherence to hospital policy and clinical protocols. Candidates should be prepared for a fast‑paced neonatal environment emphasizing patient safety and family‑centered care.
