Soliant is seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers with an EMD certification for the upcoming school year in McCall Creek, Mississippi.
Position Details
- Full-Time
- 37.5 Hours per Week
- School Year
- EMD Certification Required
- High School Caseload
- Approximately 12 students (typically 8-9 actively served)
- Elementary Caseload
- Approximately 6 students
- Supported by 2 classroom assistants
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide specialized instruction to students with emotional and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Create a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment
- Active Mississippi Special Education Teaching License
- EMD Certification Required
- New graduates and candidates currently renewing or obtaining certification are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working with students with emotional or behavioral disabilities preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
