Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
This director position has full responsibility for the programmatic and operational administration and oversight of their assigned Adult Day Services programs. They work directly with Program Managers to plan, organize, and direct the identification, prioritization and implementation of contracted projects that improve measurable financial and service outcomes for the programs as well as the implementation of service delivery as per Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) policies and procedures.
POSITION SALARY: $60-$65,000 annually
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide administrative oversight for all programs by supporting the Program Managers, providing general checks and balances of program operations and problem resolution and intervention if needed including but not limited to:
Thorough review, training and implementation of all program activities to ensure compliance with day-to-day operational requirements according to established policies, including but not limited to compliance with DDD, Department of Labor (Wage and Hour) regulations, HIPAA, support of individuals' rights, and all other policies and standard operating procedures Ongoing assessment of services and activities, ensuring that all aspects of programming meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual supported in the program through team collaboration and direct implementation of the Individuals Support Plan (ISP) Ensuring adequate staffing implementation and efficient scheduling of all assigned areas, along with accurate accounting of staff time and processing of payroll.
Oversee workflow management and the timely delivery of information, and reports including but not limited to on-time delivery reports, work order completion reports and turn-over reports regarding our individuals. Ensure accurate and timely submission of attendance data, and fee-for-service billable service documentation. Create and foster a positive workplace culture of support, encouragement, and growth by creating shared vision and clearly communicating that vision through open and transparent communication, recognizing the accomplishments of those they lead, and by being aware of and addressing the training and development needs and aspirations of those they lead.
Submit required monthly data including, but not limited to, the review of budget information, safety reports, incident management reports including status of investigations, census reports, status of plans of correction, and other quality improvement reports reflecting adherence to program guidelines and/or plans of correction Provide ongoing supervision of assigned staff in areas including, but not limited to, recruitment, selection, leadership, coaching, training, performance management, promotion, discipline, operational investigations and termination.
In the absences of Program Managers, provide day to day oversight of program operations including, but not limited to partnering with Documentation Specialists to ensure that daily program notes are completed by staff, as needed. Prepare program budget in conjunction with program fiscal staff and the Executive leadership team. Facilitate development with appropriate involved parties (i.e., licensing bodies, facilities management.
Fiscal representatives, other operations staff) of program modifications in response to development/expansion and program evaluation based upon current regulatory expectations; implement those strategies as deemed necessary and appropriate Manage and respond to requests in multiple areas including but not limited to File and Records Management of consumer and program records, Payroll, Purchasing, Information Technology Services, and Human Resources Plan, facilitate, lead, and participate in program / administrative meetings, staff meetings and meetings with all other departments across the organization, including but not limited to departmental meetings, problem solving meetings with residential providers and/or families, as needed Work with, understand, and comply…
