Team Member, Nights - Brookhaven, MS

Job Title – Team Member Nights (12‑hour shift)

$19.00 to $21.00 per hour. 12‑hour shift either 7AM‑7PM or 7PM‑7AM, working every other weekend and scheduled holidays.

Matheson’s Continental Carbonic Products division specializes in the manufacture and distribution of dry ice and liquid carbon dioxide. Continental Carbonic maintains a reliable network of 40 dry‑ice distribution facilities located strategically throughout its service area. This integrated distribution network ensures that Continental Carbonic can quickly react to customers’ needs.

• Pack and wrap ice to customer specifications
• Shovel and package dry ice during the manufacturing process – label, strap, and stage dry ice for loading
• Clean and sanitize large industrial containers
• Operate a forklift safely
• Move from one department to another or to/from positions/stations as directed by supervisor and leads

• Able to frequently lift 30 lbs while twisting, reaching, and bending
• Able to stand for a 12‑hour shift in a non‑climate‑controlled environment
• Demonstrated ability to work on a team
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Comply with all policies and standards

• Experience required: 1–3 years
• Preferred:
  Food safety experience

• Ability to speak up and do what is right, and to watch out for others and help instead of watching others work
• Ability to follow directions, be punctual, and understand and follow safe‑work practices

• Frequently lift 30 lbs while twisting, reaching, and bending
• Stand for a 12‑hour shift in a non‑climate‑controlled environment
• Working as part of a team under high‑temperature and high‑humidity conditions
• Physical demands – stationary position (frequently), move/traverse (frequently), transport/lifting (occasionally)
• Communicate (talking/hearing) – frequently
• Repetitive motions – frequently, coordination – frequently
• Environmental conditions – extreme cold, extreme heat, humidity – frequently; noise, hazards, temperature change, atmospheric change – constantly
