Everything we do at Rudolph Foods is built on a few core values:

  • Plan, organize, and run day-to-day operations to meet or exceed our customers' expectations.
  • Grow our production output and flexibility while keeping costs in check and quality where it needs to be.
  • Be present on the floor across all shifts so you can see for yourself that our processes are running right and that problems get fixed fast.
  • Use real-time data to spot problems, cut waste, and improve performance.
  • Build the systems, metrics, and targets that get the most out of our people and our equipment.
  • Keep our equipment and capital assets running well and properly maintained.
  • Stay current on best practices in production management and bring good ideas back to the plant.

Leading Our People and Culture

  • Lead our plant culture around Safety, Quality, Service, and Profitability, and hold the team accountable to it every day.
  • Build real trust with your team through coaching, development, and consistent leadership.
  • Get associates engaged so we make the most of our people and assets.
  • Get ahead of employee issues before they become bigger problems.
  • Listen to associates at every level and use what you hear to make better decisions.
  • Give the team the training and leadership they need to keep building a positive culture here.
  • Keep plant priorities lined up with company goals so everyone knows what we're working toward.

Financial and Resource Management

  • Own the plant's budget, financial plans, and profit targets.
  • Put cost-effective controls in place for operating costs, wages, and labor.

Employee Safety Responsibilities

This includes, but isn't limited to:

  • Working with supervisors to make sure they enforce our safety policies and procedures.
  • Follow our safety practices yourself and lead by example.

  • Spotting food safety violations on the production floor.
  • Following all food safety and security regulations and related SOPs.
  • Reporting anything that needs action to the people who have the authority to fix it.
  • Making sure an equally trained manager from Ops, QA or SQF covers this role when you're out.
