Summary
The Assistant Coach is responsible to the Head Coach in all activities of the intercollegiate sports program.

Duties and Responsibilities- Responsible for the upkeep of all athletic facilities.
- Prepares bids for equipment and supplies as needed.
- Responsible for recruiting student-athletes.
- Prepares for practice, game organization, and strategy.
- Monitors student-athlete's class attendance, grade performance, and campus reports.
- Collects student-athletes information for insurance purposes.
- Responsible for complying with NJCAA, MACCC, and other rules and regulations pertaining to athletics.
- Responsible for scouting opponents.
- Works with other coaches to promote the total athletic program.
- Works in harmonious relation with faculty, staff, patrons, and students.
- Provides information to the public relations department as assigned.
- Responsible for inventory, scheduling, and travel.
- Responsible for making sure athletes prepare daily assignments and attend all classes.
- Supervises athletes in the dormitory, cafeteria, and on campus.
- Recommends, through the college's planning process, the physical and budgetary needs of the athletic program.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
The Dorm Host/Hostess promotes the safety of residents, monitors the physical facilities, and provides other services as advised by the Director of Housing.
Duties and Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the assigned dormitory.
- Perform safety duties by monitoring door access, fire alarm system, residents, and guests entering the building.
- Provide training for residents on decision‑making skills.
- Respond to emergencies and other situations that may arise.
- Provide written documentation to the appropriate supervisor for maintenance or custodial needs or student policy infractions or any other report required by the college.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree
- Three (3) years coaching experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Initiative and Flexibility

- Experience working with electronic resources and instructional technology

The work environment can be indoors or outdoors with after‑hours duties. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust ocus.
