Qualifications:
- Demonstrate ability to supervise children in a manner that will maintain an orderly atmosphere on a school bus.
- Exhibit good writing and communication skills.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
- To help the bus driver maintain an orderly atmosphere on the school bus by Supervising students and following the District Transportation Discipline Procedures.
- Aid the bus driver in supervising students as they enter, ride and depart the school bus.
- Aid the bus driver in maintaining an orderly climate on the school bus.
- Aid the bus driver in constructing seating charts and/or student seating placement.
- Aid the bus driver in writing up bus referrals and following steps in the Transportation discipline procedures.
- Aid the bus driver in providing a safe climate by observing all mandatory safety regulations for school buses, both district and state.
- Be courteous to students, co-workers, administrators, and parents.
- Perform such other duties as assigned by appropriate supervisor.
