Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an outpatient, inpatient, and ARU setting in Brookings, OR and Northern California.

Job Details

• Outpatient PT services split between Brookings, OR and a California location, with additional inpatient and ARU coverage,

• Weekend inpatient coverage required at the associated acute care hospital,

• Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts),

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Current PT license required; CA license required if applicable,

• Current BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification required,

• Minimum 2 years of PT experience required,

• Experience across outpatient, inpatient, and ARU settings preferred given the mixed assignment,

• 2 supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration,

• Copies of all certifications required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, and increase strength,

• Provides clinical supervision of PT assistants and aides, and may serve as a clinical instructor for students,

• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate,

• Previous employees of this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler,

• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
