As our Construction Supervisor
, you’ll keep momentum high on a fast-moving Mutual Self-Help Home build—making sure every home rises with pride, precision, and purpose. This temporary role exists to lead the jobsite so families can build safely, learn confidently, and finish strong.
- Direct on-site construction work from rough through finish carpentry, maintaining quality standards
- Enforce jobsite safety practices and correct issues immediately
- Teach and coach participating families in safe, effective building techniques
- Plan ahead by ordering, staging, and tracking building materials to avoid downtime
- 3–5 years of residential construction experience (rough/finish and carpentry)
- Outstanding patience, communication, and instruction skills with unskilled laborers
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally, stand for long periods, and work in varied weather

Between tasks, you’ll coordinate deliveries, confirm materials are on hand, and keep the build moving so the team can end each shift seeing real, thrilling progress on the home taking shape.
