This 9‑month, full‑time, benefits‑eligible, non‑tenure‑track position is located in Brookings, South Dakota.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Faculty members plan, implement, and evaluate assigned courses either as an individual assignment or as a member of a teaching team.

Salary commensurate with qualifications, starting at $64,000 for Instructor level.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (at application) and Master’s degree in Nursing (by start date).
• Licensed by the South Dakota Board of Nursing or eligible for licensure with current licensure in another state.
• Two years of relevant clinical practice experience.
• Effective written communication skills.
• Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire and willingness to travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Doctoral preparation in Nursing or related discipline.
• Degree education from more than one degree‑granting institution.
• Formal teaching experience in nursing.
• Evidence of professional service.
