Product Engineer

As a Product Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
* Providing support to develop new raw materials for existing products in the manufacturing facility
* Designing experiments and covering experiments on production equipment.
* Leading and/or contributing to various cross functional teams/ projects to deliver the business operating plans
* Project planning, management and implementation
* Participating in continuous improvement project initiation, leadership, execution and measurement
* Providing support for new product scale-up and commercialization
Your Skills and Expertise:
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline (completed and verified prior to start) AND two (2) years of engineering, research and development, or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
OR
* High School Diploma/GED AND six (6) years of engineering, research and development, or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (completed and verified prior to start).
* Experience working in a healthcare or medical device manufacturing environment, including familiarity with regulated manufacturing settings (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA‑regulated environments).
* Experience preparing and delivering technical information through written documents (e.g., reports, procedures, work instructions) and verbal presentations or discussions with cross‑functional stakeholders.
* Experience managing and progressing multiple technical work streams independently, including planning activities, coordinating inputs, and delivering defined technical outcomes.

The expected compensation range for this position is $106,000 - $145,750, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
