Position:
Energy Systems Engineer at South Dakota State University, Brookings, SD. 12‑month, full‑time, benefit‑eligible role.
- Instrumental in conserving the university’s energy usage through the development, design, management, and coordination of construction and renovation projects affecting energy conservation.
- Provide support to the Engineering Shop in utilities management.

- Effective written and oral communication skills.

- Computer experience with Microsoft E-mail, Word, and Excel.
- Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of building HVAC systems.
- Knowledge or experience in project management.
