Job DescriptionENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER (Permanent) Our client, a global manufacturing organization in WNY, is looking to add an Engineering Project Manager to their growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage cross-functional engineering projects and new initiatives from inception/planning through execution
- Compile team from Engineering, Operations, Quality, and leadership teams
- Create budgets, schedules, project charters, and risk mitigation strategies
- Clearly define timelines, milestones, and objectives, tracking each as the project progresses
- Delegate and oversee responsibilities, ensure projects remain on schedule and internal/external stakeholders are updated/aligned throughout
- Identify risks, develop resolutions, and proactively manage each to avoid further complications
- Present complex technical plans in a clear/concise manner to a diverse audience
- Juggle multiple projects at a time—anywhere from 3-5 is typical, depending on the complexity
- Work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Other duties as assigned/as necessary
Details:
- Position is full-time, direct hire
- $90,000 – $110,000 annually depending on experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business or related
- 5+ years’ experience in project management supporting Engineering/Manufacturing/Operational projects
- PMP Certification is a plus
- Must be able to access technical data governed by US Export Control regulations
- Professional demeanor and ability to interact with employees
- Highly confidential
- Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organization skills, analytical, and time management skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Relocation not available
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States;
