South Dakota State University's (SDSU) Facilities and Services Energy Systems department is seeking two (2) Equipment Technician to join our team. If you have mechanical aptitude and are interested in growing a career as an HVAC professional, this could be the position for you!

This position is located in Brookings, South Dakota.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform planned preventative and routine maintenance on hydronic systems and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment in order to prevent premature failures and to help identify small problems before they become larger.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of:

* Knowledge of basic mechanical systems and use of hand and power tools

* General knowledge of mechanical driven equipment including pumps, fans, and motors

Skill & Ability to:

* Work independently and in a team environment;

* Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule; and

* Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Required License:
Valid driver's license
