Household goods mover and driver of smaller straight truck

Overview

Pay is up to $30/hr looking for a motivated person 23 years of age or older (insurance requirement), with a clean driving record and valid license. This job does not require a CDL but requires passing a pre-employment drug test and the ability to obtain a medical card to cross state lines (we will pay for this). The job requires driving a smaller straight truck around town and traveling into other states to pick up or deliver household goods shipments.

You will be packing, loading, and unloading the truck along with a crew. We travel to the lower 48 states and are based out of Brookings, with the majority of work in this area. When on the road, hotels and meals are provided for you.

• Drive a smaller straight truck around town and, as needed, to other states to pick up or deliver household goods shipments.
• Pack, load, and unload the truck along with a crew.
• Assist with travel logistics and comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain the ability to travel to the lower 48 states; work primarily based in the Brookings area.
• Stay in hotels and receive meals while on the road as provided by the company.

• Work week is generally Monday–Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a one-hour lunch break.
• Overtime may be available during busy seasons; usually Saturdays and Sundays off.
• Vacation, sick pay, holiday pay, and Aflac (optional) after 90 days of employment.
