A bit about us:
Our client is an established construction organization with a strong reputation for delivering quality commercial construction projects. The company is continuing to grow and is looking to add an Assistant Superintendent / Punch List Superintendent to its field team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is earlier in their construction career and wants to build a long-term path in field supervision.

Our client is particularly interested in candidates who have come up through the trades and are ready to take the next step into a supervisory role. Someone who has spent time in the field, understands how work actually gets installed, and wants to move into construction management could be an ideal fit.

This position will work closely with the Superintendent and project team, helping coordinate day-to-day field activities while taking ownership of punch list, closeout, quality control, and project completion.

You don't need to have 15 years of Superintendent experience.

You do need to know construction, be willing to learn, and have the drive to become the person running the jobsite down the road.

Why join us?

This company offers an opportunity to get your foot in the door with an established construction organization while developing the skills needed to advance your career in field operations.

  • Work directly alongside experienced Superintendents and project leadership
  • Learn the ins and outs of running a commercial construction project
  • Gain hands-on experience with scheduling, coordination, quality control, and closeout
  • Take ownership of punch list and project completion activities
  • Coordinate subcontractors and help keep field activities moving
  • Develop relationships with subcontractors, vendors, owners, and project team members
  • Build experience reading plans, tracking progress, and identifying field issues
  • Transition your trade experience into a broader construction leadership role
  • Develop the skills necessary to progress toward a Superintendent position
  • Work on active commercial construction projects
  • Join a team that values people who understand construction from the field up

This is a particularly strong opportunity for someone who has spent time actually building things and is ready to move to the other side of the hard hat.

If you've been a carpenter, electrician, plumber, mason, or another construction trade and have started thinking,  I could run this job,  this could be the next step.
